Campaign for America's Wilderness executive director Mike Matz appeared on E&E TV’s OnPoint this week to discuss the upcoming House vote on the public lands omnibus bill. Scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, the vote could mark the final legislative hurdle for 16 measures designating more than two million acres of federal public land as wilderness. Matz discussed the prospects for passage of the omnibus legislation, and the politics of public lands protection in the new Congress.
